Grandparents!

Here we have Grandpa Chase and Jared all dressed up to go to church. There is Grandma Chase with her grandkids. The dresses that the girls are wearing were made by Grandma while she stayed here for the holidays, arent they the cutest dresses. Grandma was so proud to see her girls all dressed up in these dresses and the girls loved it! Thanks Grandma!

uncles, cousins and sisters!

There is Uncle Marc with Jared and then with all our kids. Then there is Uncle Levi with all the girls (ie. Liz, Jamie and Aubie) and little Jared!

Chase Boys!!

After the blessing we came home and enjoyed a great lunch of hot dogs and potatoe salad! Yummy! Then we took pictures of everyone!. These are currently all the boys in the family that carry the last name Chase, all the other boys are Clausen's.
We thought that it would be great to get Jared and all his uncles in with his dad and grandpa, but he didnt think that was fun.

We do have some better pics of him with his uncles and his sisters so enjoy!
Kyle and Tonya

Kyle is a friend from Jared's original ward in MO, and now lives out here in UT. That's his fiance' Tonya ( due to be wed on feb 13th). They came out for the blessing and didn't stay too long but we were happy to see them and to have them participate!

The Long Family

Some friends from our old ward in Salt Lake City came to participate in Jared's blessing. That is James with his oldest son Ben (he is hiding), his wife Jimena and their youngest son Joseph. Along with them is Jimena's mom, Estel (a lovely person) holding baby Jared! Thanks for coming out guys!

The Larsen Family

These are good friends of ours the Larsen's. Matt served his mission at the same time Jared did, they were companions for awhile and Matt know my family well. His wife Nikol and her three little boys Daxton and Corbin taking great pics at Jared's blessing! Thanks for coming all the way out to Farmington guys!

What a Handsome Little Boy!

Jared looks great in some colors like brown, green, red and orange but doesn't he just look so handsome in his little suit. He is waiting on the couch for everyone to get ready to go to church for his name and blessing and because it is his day, he had to be better looking than anyone else there... I think we have a future star on our hands!

Guitar Hero Barbara!!!

This was Christmas Day after a great dinner at Levi's house, we decided that we would play a few games on Levi and Susie's Wii. It was great to see Susie get the high score on her favorite songs and to see Jared and Levi 'rock out' during the game, but I think that the best part of the night other than the good food and company, was to see Grandma Chase 'rock out' on the guitar while playing Guitar Hero!! What a great night for Barbara!! I dont think anyone will question her 'coolness' now!

Christmas Morning

All the wonderful gifts and more!

Jared's First Christmas!

Grandpa and Grandma Chase made the long journey from St.Louis, MO to UT. to spend Christmas with us. This was Christmas Day at Levi's house in Salt Lake City, getting ready to eat some yummy dinner! Before everyone got into the food we got these great pictures of Grandpa, Grandma, Daddy and little Jared all dressed up for his First Christmas!. How cute are they?

Getting ready for Thanksgiving Dinner!

We got all the kids dressed up for Thanksgiving dinner at Levi's, and only two kids managed to stay out of the chocolate... can you guess who didn't? Well we had to go because we were late (as usual) so I just snapped a few shots of the girls and Jared in their somewhat clean clothes, Jared in his new outfit and Liz in her favorite sweater!

I Wanna Grow Up............ To Be A News Reporter!

I love the Christmas season, with all the wonderful smells and the happy tunes along with the best thing ever...shopping! I love going to the malls when the are crowded with holiday shoppers, the pushing and shoving and all the great things that go along with shopping in crowds! You think I am joking but I am serious! Well anyways, while we were taking a break from another favorite of mine ( window shopping) we let the girls play at the play place and they had this cute little news room set up so that the kids can watch themselves give the news just like on t.v. Our girls thought that this was the best part, pretending to be a grown up and watching themselves on t.v.
Jared's First Christmas Tree!

After Thanksgiving dinner at home with the kids we decided to go get our Christmas Tree up and start getting ready for the Christmas season. Too bad our 4ft pre-lit tree wasn't working, somehow the lights weren't lighting! So we packed up all the kids and went shopping for a new tree, but we didn't find one! A few days later, after spending 2 to 3 hrs online we found a place with the tree that we wanted, so again we packed up the kids and headed out in the snow for a tree, but by the time that we got there the tree that we wanted had been sold out! What were we going to do?
We called some friends and asked where they knew there we trees still left to purchase, and we found one, it wasn't the one I wanted... I wanted a 6ft PRE-LIT tree, but Jared got a regular 6ft tree. Imagine my disappointment when we found out that we had to assemble every single branch, then put lights on and finally decorations.
By the time that we managed to set up the branches the way we wanted it, it was way to late to keep the kids up and had to send them to bed! Jared stayed up to watch mom and dadput up the decoartions, he thought they were something to look at for sure! Once everything was on the tree and we made sure it looked half-way decent, we got a pic of Little Red next to his first ( very dificult to obtain) Christmas Tree... and he just loved it!
Silly Face!

We propped up Jared with his favorite blankie to watch his daddy at work on the fireplace while his sisters were running around in the livingroom. He just loves to see people in action and then we heard him making some noises and I thought that I would get his noises on the camcorder, but then he started making all these funny faces at me, its like he is smiling but making the sillyest face that he could at the same time!!! I just love this pic of him!

Play Mat

Jared is getting so big, he is babbling, eating cereal with applesauce and now he is finally getting the hang of his play mat. He started to grab things and put it in his mouth, we thought that he was teething, but we weren't sure! However, we got some great shots of him playing for a little while. Good job Jared!

Walking Around!
This was the first time that Jared started to use his walker, now he uses it almost everyday! Unfortunately, his little feet don't touch the floor, so he kinda just likes to hang around in it while we get things done! He also started holding things in his little hands like cars and rattles, but only for a moment! It's something that we are working on! Besides just hanging around in a walker he started babbling at us hoping to join in on any conversation, he has to make sure that he isn't forgotten, he has two sisters to compete against and boy do they talk alot!! Hopefully he will have a growth spurt soon so that he can move around on his own like the rest of us!
