Jared vs. Strep Throat!!!

Jared came home one afternoon feeling 'horrible'! So he took a hot shower and went to bed, it was like 7pm. The next morning he felt worse with a sore throat and a high fever. I kept him in bed and gave him some Ibprophen and some soda for the itchy and sore throat! I thought that by noon he would be feeling a bit better. But he still had a fever and his throat was still really sore!. I started to get worried and I called Susie. She said to keep an eye on him because he might have Strep Throat! He didnt get any better at all through the night. The next morning he went to the clinic to get tested to see if he had Strep Throat or worse. I was confrimed he had Strep. I lasted about a week, he was miserable through the entire time. He tried to sleep but his throat hurt too much even with the medicine.

Thankfully he got better within a few long days, and even better the kids and I didnt get Strep Throat... which was a mircle because I was the one taking care of him and all three kids! That was a blessing that I counted that week!

MOMMA'S BOY

My handsome little boy was a Momma's boy from the day he was born, he loves to snuggle with mom on the couch and watch TV, he loves when I feed him his cereal and when I make all these silly faces for him. He loves it when he gets hugs and kisses when he is sick or tired! Jared is just a happy little boy who loves to spend time with his Mom... This wont last forever so I do take advantage of it and I give him extra kisses all day, but he doesn't complain as of today that is! One day he will be all grown up... I hope that day doesn't come by too soon.
TV Junkie!!!

I have to admit I am one of those moms that let their kids spend most of the day in front of the TV! After all that was how I was raised and I turned out OK! Well this was one of those days when I couldn't muster up enough energy to do much and Jared and Elizabeth were a bit bored... so I put Sponge bob Square pants on for them to watch together while I got Jamie some breakfast! Elizabeth just loves to cuddle with Jared.

SLEEPOVER!!

This was just one of those days when nothing went right! I didnt have time to make dinner because bathtime when too long, I missed Gossip Girl, I had a sink full of dishes and it was already a half hour past bed time, not to mention that Jared was stuck in SLC with work and would not be home for a while. So I said to myself " Forget it" and I started to take some pics of the kids playing together! I set Jared down in Lizzy's bed and came back and found her snuggling with Jared and her blankie! She said "mom can Jared sleep with me tonight I promise I will hug him and take care of him" my answer was " Not today"! But what a cute picture of them huh??
My Favorite Toys.

Jared is getting so big so quickly! He loves playing in his walker and he loves his rattle! This is kind of cool because these were Elizabeth's favorite toys when she was this little!!!

Our Mouse Trap!

Recently we discovered this winter that we had a small mouse.. yeah I know ... I hate mice! Then we also discovered that we had a Black Widow Spider problem. So we did the humane thing and got a Mouse/Spider Trap.. her name is Satasha, she was given to us by a friend. She is a big help! so far it is March and the spiders are coming out and she is getting rid of them before the girls see these scary spiders! EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!!!!! She is so lazy sometimes.. this was one night I found her waiting in the bathroom sink while I was in the shower, she tends to follow me around all day! But when we need her she comes to the resuce!

Cotton Candy

Here we are at the circus during intermission. Jared thought that it would be great to have some cotton candy for dessert after a wonderful dinner at the circus of hotdogs, french fries and of course chicken! So here are the girls with there sticky and sweet cotton candy... For them this was the best part of their meal, for Jared it was a matter of getting unstuck of cotton candy!

Elephant Ride

So we took the kids to the circus while it was here in little old Farmington... It was not that great of an experience! The elephants were tired and irritable through the entire ride. This elephant in particular was the one that the girls ended up riding. Right before they got on the elephant started to stomp and make all these loud noises at his masters, almost like he was saying "I am done I am not doing this tonight!!! " Once the girls got on he started swaying and stomping violently. Luckily the girls thought it was fun rather than scary! I am definately happy that they had an experience of a lifetime, but this is a once in a lifetime deal... no more elephant rides for my girls!
