Christmas Decorations

The weekend after Thanksgiving was the only time that we had to get the Christmas tree out and start making the house all "Merry and bright"! The kids were old enough to help put the decorations on the tree and they knew some Christmas songs. This year was kind of harder than the last. Now that we dont have a pre-lit tree that meant that we spent at least a hour or so checking lights and stringing the lights on the tree, something I was sure that I was not going to do at all. I was pretty much done with the whole thing when the lights were giving us problems. I wanted and still do want a pre-lit tree!

Needless to say, the kids had a blast hanging the ornaments and the tree looked great. Next year, I am going to go ahead and get the pre-lit tree it makes the whole decorating less stressful with three kids!

Snow and The Turkey Bowl!

Our ward was having a turkey bowl on Thanksgiving Day morning. Jared was getting ready the night before by making sure there was enough air in the football for the next morning. Little Jared thought it would be fun to throw a ball around with his daddy. These boys had alot of time to warm up because what was waiting for them outside was snow and cold weather... brrrr!

Radley's Blessing

On the first Sunday of November Radley Chase got blessed. The girls had a great time meeting and holding their new cousin.. Little Jared was also happy to see another little boy just like him!
